always experienced the frustration of perfecting your manicure, alone for it to be chipped within hours ? While many of us may blame rubbish nail polish formulas, the problem could actually be your application proficiency. here are the things you should be doing – and a few things to avoid : 1) Don’t shake your bottle. Those silver ‘ mixing balls ’ in your complete varnish bottle activate the product ’ mho formula. To get them working, simply roll your nail polish bottle between the palms of your hands – but do not shake it. If you shake the bottle, you ’ re more likely to get air bubbles on application. 2) Seal the tip of your nail. then many of us paint our nails without capping off the top. once you ’ ve painted the entire smash bed, drag some polish horizontally across the top edge of your nail. This will seal the polish, making it less probably to nick.

This causes cracks and can make your polish chip when your nail beds return to their normal size. Likewise, don ’ deoxythymidine monophosphate rouge your nails straight after a shower. If the first layer is streaked, do n’t worry, as this can be covered up with your second layer.

5) Apply your nail varnish in a four-step process – and let each part dry thoroughly. Begin with a base coat, then follow it with one layer of pinpoint polish, a second layer of polish and ultimately a lead coat. see that you let each layer dry before you apply the next, thus that the polish has stuck to the nail. If you ’ re diffident about whether your polish has dried, check if its appearance has shifted from a wet-look to a glossy glitter – this will mean that its solvents have evaporated. 6) Make sure your nails are clean and dry. While this may seem obvious, any oils left over from hired hand and complete products can prevent your complete polish from sticking. MORE: IS IT TIME TO BIN YOUR NAIL POLISH? Like this ?
